Intro: When does a day, or a Sabbath, truly begin?

‘Debunking’ the ‘evening-to-evening; (E2E) [mis-] interpretation, regarding the start of a day (&/or Sabbath).

THE PROBLEM: 

DISSEMINATION OF FALSE DOCTRINE &  INFLEXIBLE TRADITION 

In my process of awakening, I have encountered many lies, and many false doctrine, which are (still) widely accepted as ‘truth’ or ‘gospel’. In some cases, I found myself stumbling, or halted from progress, by strongholds of different kinds. Mostly, these were due to a reliance upon some group or individual telling me things which seemed to ‘fit’, like a missing puzzle piece, or which seemed to be based upon sound rationale and scripture. Upon further investigation, however, such doctrine or beliefs were not found to be scripturally accurate; they relied upon TRADITION, as well as faulty interpretations &/or translations. The determination of the beginning of a day, or a Sabbath, is one such example, as I hope to convey to my brothers and sisters who are able to see Truth, and overcome traditions and currently-held belief. Specifically, I hope to ‘debunk’ the error of the ‘evening-to-evening’ (E2E) [mis-] interpretation, regarding the start of a day (&/or Sabbath)

It isn’t easy to admit error. As I have discussed in several early video expositions, the resistance one encounters is great; not only must we overcome tradition and widely-held beliefs of the world, our community, friends and family, but also our own internal resistance. Everyone firmly believes that their beliefs are both true and correct, and are based upon FACT. Often, however, after a diligent search, one finds a foundation of nothing but sand; this is what I found to apply to the E2E ‘doctrine’. I will admit that at one time, I too was ensnared in this very doctrine—a stumbling block overcome, by His grace…

We all retain some degree of error, but few realize the errors they embrace, because they are introduced by trusted individuals, groups and institutions; one believes those to whom they have vested trust—makes perfect sense. Why would they lie? Again, the deceptions conveyed are most often not purposeful, or based upon any evil intent; instead, lies and deceptions are most often transmitted by well-meaning sources who truly believe that they are transmitting ‘truth’. However, many ‘new’ or revealed ‘truths’ are simple old lies with a shiny new coat of paint…

Recently, I have become to recognize a general stagnation in the ‘community’, and in my own process. People are becoming adamant, and are resisting the further push needed for true breakthroughs, and acceptance of new revelations. These attitudes and resistances hinder progress to be gained by the pouring out of Spirit, prophesied to be a world-wide phenomenon characteristic of end times; (Act 2:17-18 KJV] 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:) That is, given we are to receive this outpouring, then it must be purposeful, and everyone should understand that knowledge of a spiritual nature will be increased, IF the prophesying is attended to, or received in the spirit of Truth. (Amos 3:7 (KJV) Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.) 

YouTube channel speakers have begun to say ‘I’ve had it’ with naysayers or challenges to their accepted beliefs. They cite tired and traditional falsehoods, stubbornly clinging to their error. They deny any connection to tradition or old systems of organized ‘religion’. It’s like driving backwards in a fog, going back into the bondage of ‘churchianity’, or the ‘religiousity’ from which many have escaped. Don’t fall into this snare. We all need to drive forth with vigor, understanding that new revelations will replace falsehoods, and restore the forgotten or mistaken Truth of old. Now that the Truth is pushing through at the flanks, it is not the time to become offended, or rest upon our laurels. This is a battle…

Now, I had previously been on fire in pursuit of Truth, as it regards the Sabbath; what it is, when it is, and the luni-solar calendation method. In my thinking, its determination should be fairly simple, and observable by any person, without the aid of charts, or paper, or tools (even computer). I think that the luni-solar calendar system meets those criteria. Yes, it may take a while to understand, but the signs were put up in the sky itself, so people “can’t mess with it” ( i forget who said that). It is left upon the viewer, listener or reader to look further into the calendation, if they be led to seek and understand Truth (it’s beyond the scope of the present exposition)

I will admit that all points of contention are not fully cleared yet, on several aspects of the calendar, and I don’t have all the answers, as regards Time & timings. I haven’t come out with any videos on the Time topic for some time, because I don’t want to lead anyone into error, and I want to be more assured, by the Spirit, before I do so. Some of my older videos on the topic DO have error, which I think I have gone back and annotated, either in text or annotations themselves. However, according to YT, these don’t work with mobile devices, and many don’t even read the descriptions (so please DO!)…

However, one particular subject that I do feel led, and assured to relate, is when a day, or a Sabbath begins (‘7th-day’ or ‘weekly’). I recently came to a solid conclusion, through much effort and scriptural testing, and re-search. I am assured, by a preponderance of the evidences, that my conclusions are scripturally accurate and well-supported. (That doesn’t mean ‘inflexible’, given new evidences) I give all praise and glory to the Most High for bringing me around to what may seem to some to be only a nugget, yet, in my mind, a veritable treasure. Let Him guide us as we delve in search for His Truth…and as I preface this video, so be it…

The Sabbaths

There are eight Feasts, festivals or ‘sabbaths’ (‘Holy’, sanctified &/or set-apart) days, or convocations, specifically described in Leviticus 23. Additional details or parameters are to be found sprinkled throughout the scriptures, outlining greater detail. As with any scriptural understanding, one cannot fully understand the bases, purpose, or even how to properly observe them from just one book, chapter or verse; 

Isa 28:10 ...is precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, there a little. It is contingent upon US, as faithful servants, to diligently seek out our Father, and to understand His Ways, and His Truth:

Luk 15:8  ...Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? Pro 7:15

...Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.

Heb 11:6 ...But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. The Seventh-Day Sabbath The very first sabbath mentioned in Leviticus is the ‘weekly’ or seventh-day Sabbath, a day of rest, which is to follow six work days: Lev 23:3 “Six days shall work be done: but on the seventh day is a sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation; ye shall do no manner of work…” However, its first mention is in the very beginning of the scriptures, in the Genesis account, which reinforces both the importance and weight of understanding to which this seminal concept should be given. The Sabbath, and the events depicted in the early passages have greater meanings and depth than most seem to grasp. They tell of a process from the begining, unto the very end of our age, and they relate the story of an ongoing process of salvation, through our Savior. Hence, it is of utmost importance to know everything that one can discover, in order to know deeper Truth… The ‘seventh-day’, or ‘weekly’ Sabbath is also the Sabbath referenced specifically within the Ten Commandments, per the Fourth Commandment (see Exo 20:8-11), so it is very important for obedient followers to know when and how to observe it, or to honor it, as our Father has set forth in both stone, and scripture. We are bound by the Law to honor this convocation, throughout our generations. (see below) Exo 20:8 “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy…” Unfortunately, most people simply don’t know for sure WHAT the Sabbath is, much less WHEN it is, or, particularly, when it begins. They simply go by tradition, and blindly accept everything they are told as being ‘truth’. As a group, the majority have been led to believe that the ‘sabbath’ is the worship day authored & supported by their ‘christian’ church denominations (both catholic & protestant); most typically on ‘sunday’. Others, seeking to know the Creator, and deeper Truth in scripture, discovered a false reality—one maintained by & through deceptions of a powerful adversary (Satan). Many have come to understand that they had been deceived throughout their lives, by indoctrination, on all levels; social, cultural, and even ‘religious’. Many of us ‘Awakened’, as I call them (us), have come to the realization that almost everything we were taught, and the bases and beliefs we held to be true, were nothing but a collection of lies and deceptions. Now, we must struggle to diligently seek, and hopefully to find, Truth, deeper meaning, and understanding of both our world and our Creator. However, we are still faced with a determined enemy, who seeks to bind or delay our progress, with many snares, and layers of confusion; for he is the author of it. Our adversary employs all of the methods that were previously used to prevent us from discovering Truth. It is a dis-information campaign, filled with stumbling blocks, and pitting our very human nature against us; pride, a resistance to change, the power of tradition and social, or group identity. This is a multifaceted campaign of social, psychological, and spiritual warfare. In order to overcome, we must proceed with prayer, and faith, and a love of Truth. We must arm ourselves with Truth, and we must rely upon the Spirit to guide us as we examine our beliefs, and all apparent revelations, and doctrine. _______ In this endeavor, I will not be presenting an exhaustive or comprehensive accumulation of proofs that are available, or even all that I have found. However, I will be citing particular scriptures, virtually all of which come from the KJV. The sheer volume of information, scripture and argument involved in this seemingly insignificant topic, alone, is overwhelming; therefore, my intent is to present the most obvious errors, and to concentrate on traditional misinterpretations that are most often cited as ‘proofs’ of the E2E error… Probably the most egregious error that I have encountered is a stubborn reliance upon traditions of Man, and especially, an affinity of error-laden persons to promote the same errors, and cite the same scriptures, as those that can be attributed to ‘Hebrew’, ‘Israelite’, or Judaic customs &/or tradition, though most will, and do deny it. Regardless, the foregoing ‘traditional’ errors can be found in most of the accepted doctrine &/or practices of the vast majority of so-called ‘truthers’ within the awakening community. Needless to say, I have become a bit ‘fed-up’ with their resistance, and their insistance upon continuing promulgation of this particular false doctrine; the ‘evening-to-evening’ Sabbath (&/or day) deception…(aka E2E) This (E2E) doctrine is about the timing of a day, or Sabbath, and is therefore applied to all days, including the seven ‘other’ convocations listed or mandated in Leviticus 23. Thus, the error can infect one’s recognition of the proper timing of observances, throughout the year.  Note that I am promoting an understanding of the old ways, and timings, yet  I am not suggesting or condoning anything of old ceremonial laws, sacrifices, or anything related. The convocations are appointed times for all generations, and by all peoples—they are not for ‘Jews’, but for Man (understanding ‘Israel’ = All believers, grafted together; please do your research, if you do not ‘get’, or are not familiar with this basic Truth…) Exo 31:16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. Mar 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: There are many other errors ‘out there’ which need correction, such as any use or mixing of the luni-solar with the pagan (solar) calendar, &/or the error of saying the Sabbath falls on a particular day or days on that calendar (e.g., friday evening till saturday evening), but without understanding the luni-solar calendar system, a person has no basis for either comparison or understanding. The scope of this video is not meant to cover that broader issue. Please refer to WLC (channel) for a goodly number of excellent videos on that topic…(disclaimer) So, let’s jump in to this doctrine, and see what Truth lies buried under the obfuscations, mistranslations and misinterpretations underlying these deceptions. (Again, I’m not implicating purposeful or deliberate deception—) First, I will examine some oft-cited verses and erroneous thinkings, as they are related—in the beginning…(to be continued in Part 1 video...)
